Pizza Making Parties At PizzaExpress & Milano

Who is pizza making for?

Quite literally anybody who relishes the nation’s best loved pizza!

For dab hands and kitchen liabilities alike, pizza making is a great talking – and baking – point for all sorts of personal celebrations.  Birthdays… hen & stag parties… reunions…

Pizza making literally flies of the shelves in the corporate sector.  It fits the bill perfectly for something fun to do on a work’s night out – or at an a more serious team building level.  An additional string to the PizzaExpress & Milano bow is private meeting and conferences facilities in key destinations – including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Dublin.  This presents the opportunity for companies to incorporate pizza making in to a meeting or event.

Pizza making for the little ones is fast becoming THE birthday party of choice for under 10s.  It’s pretty attractive for mums and dads, too – no sandwiches trodden in to carpets, or washing up to do afterwards!

Which PizzaExpress & Milano restaurants offer pizza making parties?

Each and every PizzaExpress in the UK and Milano in Ireland offers pizza making parties.

What times are pizza making parties available at PizzaExpress & Milano restaurants?

It’s highly unlikely that restaurants can offer availability across the middle of Saturday nights – the busiest time of the week.  This is where pizza making really differs from dining – it takes twice the space and twice the staff.  Here’s a ‘rule of thumb’ simplistic way to plan pizza making:-

Lunch –   Ideal time slots are as soon as the doors open from 11.00am.  This sounds silly early – it’s not.  It doesn’t entail eating at 11.00am.  There’s the fun and games to be had first.  Therefore, an 11.00am start would mean eating at approx. 12.15/12.30pm (dependent on group size) – a great activity and meal in one fell swoop!

Dinner – A similar scenario as lunch.  For example, a 4.00pm start would mean eating at approx. 5.15/5.30pm (dependent on group size).

Available time slots differ dramatically – dictated by the size and shape of each individual restaurant, and it’s trading patterns.  If your first choice restaurant is unavailable at your requested time, we will source the next best site for you.  Simply direct your enquiries to the GAB team – 0161 212 1017 /

Exceptional Event Venues In London

March 14, 2014 12:54 pm

GAB is wild about Gondola Group’s Exceptionsvenues in London.  They really are on a need to know basis for group dining and event organisers.  We all automatically think of PizzaExpress as Gondola Group’s key brand.  But these restaurants and venues are called Exceptions because they offer something exceptional, over and above the PizzaExpress restaurants we know and love.

Gourmet Pizza London & Winchester – The London restaurant is situated at Gabriels Wharf on the South Bank overlooking the water, (a 5 minute walk from Waterloo Station).  It offers a vibrant atmosphere and delicious menus for group dining up to exclusive venue hires.  The Winchester restaurant serves up award winning food in an amazing Cathedral side location, with an intimate private dining room for 14.

The Wharf London – Beautifully set on the South Bank’s river walkway, The Wharf is the one for clients looking for traditional seasonal English fayre instead of pizza.  In fact, pizza isn’t even on the menu!  The Wharf is an easily accessible 5 minute stroll from Waterloo Station, split over 2 floors, both with their own terrace areas.  The 45 capacity 1st floor can be used exclusively for larger group dining – or the entire venue can be closed out for private use.

The Yard London –   This restaurant / venue enjoys a great vibe in the heart of funky Shoreditch, close by Old Street Station.  It’s a converted fire station and retains many quirky original features.  The super private dining and event space seats 45, or up to 90 for mix and mingle finger food events.  The Yard is famous for its yard length pizza.

There are also a few PizzaExpress Exceptions sites that are far from standard high street products:-

PizzaExpress Dean St Soho – Its historic basement level Jazz Club below the restaurant is available for group lunches, pizza making parties, and exclusive daytime event hires for up to 110.

PizzaExpress Kings Road (The Pheasantry) – Close to Sloane Square, it’s been a royal household, a Russian ballet school, and home to Eric Clapton over the years.  Below the restaurant is an airy club room for group lunches, pizza making parties, and exclusive daytime hires for up to 90.

Furthermore, dinner & show packages are available at PizzaExpress Dean St & Kings Road upon request.  These rates aren’t set rates – they depend on individual show prices.
